  • How about this weather…?!” This age-old small-talk starter has begun millions of conversations between strangers around the globe – but why this question? What does the weather say that we cannot? 34 Scenes About the Weather is an experiment, an investigation into the way weather affects us all and a celebration of the talents of both emerging and established writers all wrapped up into 100 minutes of theatrical small-talk.

  • Seven Brisbane writers, one bold provocation: It’s happening all over the damn place, all over the world… the fracturing of everything… nations, ethnicities, races, genders, the environment - into so many splintered parts.

These seven writers have each delivered a poignant and powerful play for two actors, split across times and perspectives.

Joining the actors on stage is Tyrone Noonan (George) weaving songs and sounds inspired by these short plays, set in a place as familiar and strange as our own backyard.

  • Dante and Virgil have been friends for four years now. Dante loves a few things: birthdays, orange, six dollar wine and Virgil. Virgil loves poetry and orange too. But when the sudden appearance of a past friend in Virgil’s life changes everything that they’ve both known, Dante can’t help but reminisce about the past they both shared.

  • Very Fine People explores the experiences of young people growing up in the Australian schooling system, through the lense of student politics and our connection with the adult world. Why must we fight to be heard? What extent must we go to, to make our voices echo in the empty chamber that is our future? The stories told by these young students stand the test of time and question if we can truly change the way our own narratives have been written.

  • PALLAS SISTER RISING is a raw, new work by Grace Wilson.

Taking the myth of Pallas Athena and rocketing it into the 21st century, becoming a brutal exploration of what happens when two women of divine nature get too close, from one of Australia's most explosive emerging playwrights. Delving deep into how abuse manifests in women, PALLAS SISTER RISING is painfully relatable and tragic to a level that only Greek mythology can reach.
