SYNOPSIS

Eli Anderson knows how his own story ends, he’s thought it over about a million times. Desperate to free himself of an overbearing father and cold older brother, Eli escapes one evening with the desire to see Uluru for the first time. That is until he’s caught by Benji Hatchet, a runaway loner with more than enough words to share, as they embark on the road trip of a lifetime across Australia. Secrets, lies and 70’s rock hits entangle and intertwine as both young men struggle to understand who they truly are with the world against them.

GOODBYE, ELI ANDERSON is a story of grief told through the voice of someone who will be grieved, a story of the generations of men who struggle to make their love known and a story of the endless plains of this country, the stars and the endlessness of the Beyond.
